Our Beliefs

Sunday Service Banner

The True God. We believe that there is only one true and living God whose name is Jehovah, the Author of salvation, worthy of all honor, confidence, and love, revealed through the distinctions of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and equal in every divine perfection. 1 John 5:7; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 5:3-4; John 6:63

The Scriptures. We believe the Holy Bible was written by humans but divinely inspired, that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, truth for its substance, and reveals the principles by which God will judge us. 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12

Salvation. The Salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, through the mediation of the Son of God, who by the Holy Spirit was born of the Virgin Mary and took upon Him our nature, yet remained sinless. Jesus Christ honored the divine law by His personal obedience and made atonement for our sins by His death. He rose from the dead, is now enthroned in Heaven, and sits at the right hand of God. Romans 5:12-21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16

Full Immersion Baptism. We believe that Christian Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, to demonstrate our transformation through faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior. Matthew 3:13-17; Acts 2:37-38; Romans 10:13

Witnessing. Each Christian should seek the will of God in his own life and strive to be an effective witness for Christ, seeking to bring others to a saving knowledge of Christ.  Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8

Women in Leadership
. Positions as Deacons, Committee heads, Staff, and other leadership roles are equally open to men and women alike. Exodus 15:4; Acts 9:36; Romans 16:1-2
