Visiting a new church can be a stressful experience. It is our goal at Leesville Baptist Church to make all visitors feel comfortable and welcome. Below are some common questions you might have about services, while more information detailing our beliefs and values can be found under the Who We Are section of the site. Whatever needs you might have, here at LBC we are committed to growing together as one body. Welcome home.
What should I wear? There is no specified dress code. You’ll find our parishioners in anything from a suit and tie to jeans. Please dress so that you are comfortable. Our facilities are fully air conditioned and heated.
What time should I arrive? Our Sunday morning worship service begins at 11:00am. We encourage you to arrive shortly before then so you can be comfortably seated prior to the service beginning. If you have children who will be visiting with you, please come just a little earlier so you can tour our nursery facilities and speak directly with our nursery attendants.
Where can I park? There is ample parking at the LBC complex. The parking area is fully paved.
Are children welcome at LBC? Of course! LBC offers nursery services for infants and small children and children’s church for older kids. Children are also welcome to remain in the worship service with their responsible adult. Please visit our ministries page for more information on these programs.
Will I be singled out during the service? Absolutely not. While the pastor may extend a general welcome to all visitors, we don’t want to make anyone feel uncomfortable by asking them to stand or speak during the service. However, don’t be surprised if you’re extended a warm individual welcome during our visiting time!
Am I expected to tithe? There will be an opportunity to tithe during our worship service. While visitors are not required or expected to tithe, you are certainly welcome to give as you see fit.
Do I have to sing? Only if you want to! Our worship services feature a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs, so we hope you’ll be inspired to sing along.
