Every mother knows how much one or two mornings a week to run errands by yourself or just have some time alone can benefit your sanity and decrease your stress level. At the same time, if your child is learning and having fun while you are out, it is all the better!

Leesville Mother’s Morning Out (MMO) is a non-profit ministry of Leesville Baptist Church with the mission to minister to children and parents by providing loving and nurturing childcare in a Christian-focused environment during the transitional period from home to full-time preschool.

Specifically, MMO provides childcare services for children from 12 months through 3 years of age that no longer require a morning nap. Children may not turn 4 years old while in our program. The program operates Monday through Friday 9am-1pm from early September through the middle of May and offers a summer program in July and August. We have 12 children attend per day with a ratio of 4 students to 1 teacher. We love to wiggle, giggle and laugh as we sing, dance and learn about the bible while we help our children develop and interact socially with each other. Parents can choose how many days (up to three) and which days of the week work best for them. There are no required or preset programs days.

Our facilities include: three connecting rooms with numerous types of toys and manipulatives, a large, well-equipped playground and a separate lunchroom. Our teacher-led activities include: music, crafts, Chapel, reading books, dance parties and group puzzles. A large part of our day is free play where our children learn to share and take turns.
