“My heart, O God, is steadfast, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music.” ~ Psalm 57:7
At LBC, we believe that music is an essential part of the worship experience. Our Sunday morning services include a blend of contemporary and traditional elements, from music to service stucture. Maintaining classic hymns helps us to remember our roots, while learning new, contemporary praise songs helps open our ears to new ways to glorify God through song.
On Sunday morning, our goal is for you not only to be able to enjoy listening to the worship leaders, but also to hear yourself and your neighbors join together in song. Our various music groups welcome musicians of all ages and experience levels. The current available groups are for high school age to senior adults. Anyone with a love for music and a desire to use their voice or instrument to serve God is welcome to join us.

Our praise band plays year round and practices on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, and Sunday mornings from 8:45 to 9:45 AM. We choose our praise set from traditional hymns set to a new beat and contemporary praise songs. The majority of the songs in our lineup come from the CCLI Top 25 list, so you are almost guaranteed to be familiar with the music when you walk through the door! If you are interested in our band, please contact Ginger Reed or stop by our practice to check us out.
Our handbell choir practices on Sunday nights from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, excluding the third Sunday of the month. We have two octaves of bells and play fairly simple pieces. If you have beginner level music experience or higher, you can ring! We perform about every 4 weeks during the 3rd Sunday morning service.
